Basic principles used by monkkee when processing your personal data
Personal data is any information that can be used to distinguish or trace an individual‘s identity. monkkee shall utilise your personal data exclusively in order to enable you to use the monkkee website and application. In no event will monkkee use your personal data for advertising or marketing purposes or otherwise forward them to third parties without authorisation.
When visiting the website of monkkee, data is automatically transmitted to our web server. This can be information such as date and time of access, URL of the referring website, name of the accessed file, amount of transmitted data, browser type and version, operating system or your IP address.
In addition to the aforementioned information, the following data are collected in the course of registration, which is a prerequisite for using the journaling application: email address.
When getting in touch with monkkee (for example via the contact form or via email) the details of the contacting person are stored for the purpose of processing the request and for potential follow-up questions.
When using the feedback form of the journaling application, the following information is transmitted in addition to the collected data: screen resolution, current address path and browser used.
This could however reduce the range of functions of our service.
Unlike when visiting our non-registration web pages, the activation of cookies is a prerequisite for using the journaling application.
Accessing the personal information held about you
Data security of user content
User content submitted to monkkee is encrypted with a special security mechanism. Access is only possible with the user password. In case of loss of the password, monkkee cannot restore the encrypted content of the user. The user shall bear the sole responsibility for the password. monkkee assumes no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any data loss resulting from the loss of a password.
